AOTL Launches Digital Ad Buy, Web Video and Billboard Ads on the For The People Act

The six figure investment is part of the $30 million For the People Campaign launched in partnership with ECU // LAV

This week, All On The Line (AOTL), the grassroots campaign of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee’s 501(c)(4) affiliate the National Redistricting Action Fund, launched a digital ad buy, a web video, and billboard ads in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania to push for the passage of the For the People Act (H.R.1/S.1.) -- a critical reform package to get dark money out of politics, end partisan gerrymandering, and protect voting rights.

“We are at a critical point in this fight to pass the For the People Act,” said All On The Line President, Kelly Ward Burton. “The For the People Act will combat the assault on voting rights taking place in legislatures across the country and put power back in the hands of the people where it belongs. If we ban partisan gerrymandering, curb the influence of dark money, and protect the right to vote, we can have a government that prioritizes the needs of its constituents instead of the special interests.”

The web video, titled “For the People,” highlights the importance of passing The For the People Act and the work that is being done across the country to strengthen our democracy. The video includes background music from the rapper Common and will air on AOTL’s social media pages including, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The digital ad buy echoes “Power,” the TV ad buy NRAF launched earlier this month to build on the overwhelming energy across the country for the For the People Act. The digital ads will run through the week of June 21 on various platforms including Facebook/Instagram and in the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire,Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

The billboard investment will be up from June 15 - June 21 in the Phoenix, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metro areas. The ads thank Senators who are supportive of the legislation, state that voters are counting on Senators to support the legislation or encourage constituents to urge Senators to support the bill.

“For the People” Script:

Legislatures across the country have introduced nearly 400 bills that limit voting access.

It’s time for us to stand up to it and the best way to do that is pass HR1.

“It’s for the people.”

Nationwide - Florida. Georgia. Texas. - Elected officials are waging a war on your rights to vote. The For the People Act can help you put a stop to this.

For the People Act. For the People Act.

Time is running out to secure every possible vote in the Senate.

My name is Jake. Isabella. Abeni. My name is Ted Corcoran and I believe in your right to vote.

I’m from Edgewood, Kentucky. Tampa, Florida. Detroit, Michigan. Los Angeles, California.

I am fighting. Fighting. Fighting for your right to vote.

The right to vote should be guaranteed. But it’s not.

It was fought for and it was won. But it must be fought for every day.

So every day I train activists. I organize online. I talk to my friends and family. And I do it for the people. I do it because the government should reflect the people, not just the wealthy.

I do it for the people. We do it for the people. But now, right now, we need the people. We need you.

Text FTPA to 88228 and receive a link to call your senator.

Every call makes a difference, and tell them to do it for the people.
